Backyard Bug Busters collaborates with its customers to Take Back Their Backyards. Our technicians provide expert tick and mosquito control in a thorough, precise, and efficient manner. We are a family owned and operated company located in Newton, NJ (Sussex County). We offer a supportive and fun atmosphere – and we want you to join us!
What Will You Be Doing?
This is position works about 7 months per year – from about April to October. Visually inspecting customer properties and treat for ticks and mosquitoes.
- Operating a backpack blower (up to 55 pounds) to spray our product.
- Providing and maintaining excellent customer relationships and responding to basic customer inquiries and requests when visiting the property.
- Maintaining notes for pesticide usage records and customer communication.
- Maintaining clean and well-organized service vehicle.
- Be comfortable driving to customer locations.
Skills We're Looking for In a Tech:
- Honesty and integrity to interact with our customers.
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
- Ability to start work every weekday at 7:30 am from our Newton, NJ location.
- Fluent in English.
- Job is outdoors and physical. Requirements include standing, walking, bending while carrying backpack.
- Dependability with attention to details.
- Prior experience is a plus, but not required (we will provide training for the right individuals).
