Our Approach and Methods To Tick & Mosquito Control

We have a goal that is pretty simple. Help you enjoy your backyard again. We do this by implementing an Integrated Pest Management system (IPM). We do not spray and go. We are experts because of our research, knowledge, experience and commitment. Our IPM approach accomplishes suppression and reduction by removing three things these biters need to survive...food, shelter and water.

The Steps We Use To Accomplish This:

1. We treat areas of your yard that other companies overlook.

Most control companies spray the perimeter of your yard and call it a day. In addition to the perimeter, we seek out and treat areas where ticks & mosquitoes live and breed. Places like under decks and/or sheds, rock walls and mulch beds. By controlling breeding grounds, it helps control populations.

2. We partner with you.

When we visit, we look for areas of concern and alert you to them. Did you know mosquitoes only need a capful of water to lay their eggs? Did you know ticks love leaf litter? If we see something, we say something!

3. We tailor a program to meet your needs.

Not all yards are the same, so not all solutions are the same. We review each property and tailor a plan of action specific to your needs.

4. We treat your yard on a scheduled basis.

This is a barrier control program and to defeat the biters, we will apply a barrier of proprietary product, either organic or synthetic, to the perimeter of your property, shrubs and plants. These products cling to the structures and organic matter around your yard. Consistent monthly treatments are critical to a successful program. We cannot "skip" visits as it allows the barrier to breakdown resulting in unfavorable results. Our typical season is from April through October.

5. We monitor weather patterns.

The weather plays a large part in determining the start of treatment because if the spring is cold, pests tend to be more dormant. If we have a warm spring, we need to start knocking them down sooner. The same goes for the end of the program.
